BUT. another applause for my patience, i didn't write it. I know i would look back and see that as very demeaning of myself.

i had a very very bad dream yesterday.
it was so shocking and painful i woke up in the middle of the night with my heart hammering.

im back.
and bah. i dont wanna be back.

was thinking of closing down this blog coz im simply too lazy.
and i just want to go back to usa and not come back.

states was great. food was good (only jessie and i think so, the rest hated it), shopping was better.
spore should improve on having real SALES (think 50-80% off) and better service. and in general, better clothes. haha

coincidentally, i've been to all those places before except seattle, but its nice to go back again after an almost 10-yr hiatus.

i enjoyed it SO MUCH.
there are quaint museums located in the between museums and the malls are huge and u see me with my manolo blahniks.
oh swoon. zc fainted when he saw the prices.
they make kate spade look soooo affordable.
and look how pretty zara is there. didnt go in at all though. there other places to see.
oh and the toilets are gorgeous.
even a mid-range dept store like macy's have better toilets than our hyatt. think plush sofas, gleaming windows with sun shining in.

Las Vegas

Luxor.

stayed in Luxor, the neighbour of the hotel i used to stay in (Excalibur)
if u have not been to vegas or do not have a penchant for travel books or travel+living, fyi hotels in Vegas have a theme of their own
Luxor's was Egypt. thus the laser-shooting pyramid and the wall drawings and the spinx (which u dont see coz im lazy)
and Luxor is one of the more abandoned hotels. zc and i reckon that they will close in 2 yrs. haha.
but i appreciated the twin queen beds.

Vegas views.

Vegas is the place where every false comes into life. and if u are not a millionaire, u dont feel belonged.
theres fireworks everynight, people dressed to the nines, the place just smells (or stinks) of money.

Bellagio. i love the Bellagio.

Im gonna stay there the next time i go to Vegas.
the musical fountain is amazing and it goes on through the night.
and i fail to capture the beauty and granduer of the place.
but its a place where the shops are all Gucci and up.

Aladdin.
i love the shops. so i reckon the hotel prices would be low relatively in vegas.

theres like a 100 shops.
think Aldo, Steve Madden, Victoria's Secrets, FCUK, Nine West, Armani Exchange, Guess, Betsy Johnson
cheap cheap cheap (in Vegas)

and of course, Wynn.
for the rich, the super rich and those who are too rich for Bellagio.

wynn is venice-theme and its beautiful beautiful beautiful.

Misc Vegas.

went into Excalibur, kinda like a homage. haha
i remembered i used to think Excalibur was grand. oh wells.
anyway its theme is castle. u see dragons, knights and its in the shape of a castle.

anything else i watch again will have big shoes to fill.
6 of us watched the show whose tickets costed up to 1K in total. (for normal seating)
but we got it free. ahh SMU had sense when they preach that networking is so darn important.
its an extravaganza. and no pics were allowed.
oh well.
everyone go watch it. it is SO GOOD. and worth every every every single penny.

so thats Vegas. buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the different hotels.
shoot me im SO FAT now.

the thought of posting pics for Disneyland and co just give me a headache.

i came back with an extra luggage, 2.2gig of photos and a burgeoning sense of wanderlust.

i had such a nice nice nice day. although its 230 now and i have an 830 lesson tml. and i didnt do any work (proj not counted)

went out in the afternoon with yiling.

was feeling like so terrible the first day he left. coz ya.... like i said, a big part of me flew away. i can't be there to see the things he see, i cant be there to know the people he knows, i can't be there for him to complain, to talk to, to care for. and he isn't here to eat a simple dinner with me, to hear me laugh at ugly people (yes i still do that. HAHA), to hear me complain about profs and irritating people, or even to shop with me (though he hates that). the list just goes on... u know.

but i'm ok now. i figured although a part of me felt so low coz i missed him, but its also feeling sorry for myself. and i hate that. i don't get why people feel sorry for themselves coz the most basic thing a person should learn is loving yourself, respecting yourself and getting yourself out of a rut if you're ever in one.

so erm ya... im fine now. am glad im fine, though he's still not too fine. takes time i guess. and u know him la.... its harder for him to get into the whole US culture of "hey bro how's it going"... haha. u get my point.

after much much MUCH delay. thats approx 8 hours later then expected.
coz originally he was supposed to take from changi to narita. and transfer to seattle from there.
BUT there was a 2-hr screwup at changi, which made him miss the seattle flight.
which means, he had to take from narita to San Francisco and transfer from there.

so bloody troublesome right? but he got a free upgrade to Business class coz of that.
ha. that lucky pig.
and he told me that biz class got free flow of food. i'm like... =.="

so back to the main point. he's in glorios seattle.
i think thats one of the nicest place in US la.
he said that seattle is very nice so far, and he took a walk around the campus town already.

was watching elections 06 on tv at z's hs.
AIYO. got over 36000 pple in my dearest tampines go n vote for sda. i think they are crazy.

so rubbish. me. HAHA

and got so many buses. got train. got tons of food.

i hope tampines housing prices soar and soar. then i will be able to sell at a profit. my parents' profit..... means mine la. same. :D

oh. i finally came up with a wishlist.
for people who
1. dont want to spend alot of money but desperately want to gimme presents
(i dont think i have frens like that. my frens all dowan to give me presents one.)
2. want to buy me things
3. want to top up their presents
(this is like 120percent impossible. but try try see how. maybe have)
4. love me to bits and pieces and cant stand the thought of me not getting what i want
(this is confirm 200percent impossible. unless they r not my frens. HA.)

ate so much today. feel like a pig. nono, i feel like a bomb. exploding soon.

1st row: eh.. food. i like the stuff in the 2nd pic
2nd row: sushi and seafood. AH i dont eat seafood. wad a waste man.
3rd row: prawns + dimsum + indian food. didnt get to eat the satay though.
4th row: chin food.(1st pic) covered stuff. there were lotsa covered stuff thre... ate some coz too lazy to open the cover la(2nd pic) my fav cooked food section! haha. liked the roast beef(3rd pic)
5th row: food and crabs.
6th row: DESSERT! crepes, kuay and cakes. didnt get to eat all the cakes. :( SAD.
7th row: hohoho. desserts! hahahahha. wahlao its all damn nice can.... i think i ate all except for one or two. super nice.
8th row: ice cream + toppings and DESSERTS from another view. haha. i love the desserts.

the food all gone damn fast, which was why my pics all have half-trays of food.
but they refill damn fast also.
and the desserts are damn nice.
i think the pple there thought i was insane or something coz i kept taking pics of e dessert.
and i was damn greedy. i carried plates of it back to the table. aiya. BUFFET wad.

the fondue which entertained me for a while.

sat outdoors throughout.
was planning on mecure hotel thai buffet but fully booked when we got there.
z's dad suggested this other restaurant at paragon but prob booked too.
so he called shangri-la, and voila! got seats.

sat by e pool. wanted to take pics but my phone is only lighting-friendly... so well... too bad
and i must say again... i love the desserts :D
though i feel qt bad that i ate til v bo hua.....
but i ate alot of desserts. HAHAHA
and beef. so not that bad. i think.

my cut-ed hair. and Mr Goh is playing some thing on my comp. which xplains his odd expression.

my rm is not THAT messy. its just that some pieces of paper were flying around. REALLY.
