im back.
and bah. i dont wanna be back.

was thinking of closing down this blog coz im simply too lazy.
and i just want to go back to usa and not come back.
but then. ive got pics. and hmmm. oh well.
i should do a quick one.

states was great. food was good (only jessie and i think so, the rest hated it), shopping was better.
spore should improve on having real SALES (think 50-80% off) and better service. and in general, better clothes. haha

coincidentally, i've been to all those places before except seattle, but its nice to go back again after an almost 10-yr hiatus.

San Francisco.
i could live in this place.

this is our boutique hotel. and i love it.

our room name is basic instinct. haha.



streets of san fran. the shopping malls are so pretty. i heart this place.
but its costly to live there :(
did i mention just the F21 there is a whole 3-storey building?
yupyup that is the sign of shopping-greatness. haha

and carriages drawn by beautiful horses are a common sight.

Shopping in San Fran

i enjoyed it SO MUCH.
there are quaint museums located in the between museums and the malls are huge and u see me with my manolo blahniks.
oh swoon. zc fainted when he saw the prices.
they make kate spade look soooo affordable.
and look how pretty zara is there. didnt go in at all though. there other places to see.
oh and the toilets are gorgeous.
even a mid-range dept store like macy's have better toilets than our hyatt. think plush sofas, gleaming windows with sun shining in.



Las Vegas

Luxor.

stayed in Luxor, the neighbour of the hotel i used to stay in (Excalibur)
if u have not been to vegas or do not have a penchant for travel books or travel+living, fyi hotels in Vegas have a theme of their own
Luxor's was Egypt. thus the laser-shooting pyramid and the wall drawings and the spinx (which u dont see coz im lazy)
and Luxor is one of the more abandoned hotels. zc and i reckon that they will close in 2 yrs. haha.
but i appreciated the twin queen beds.

Vegas views.

Vegas is the place where every false comes into life. and if u are not a millionaire, u dont feel belonged.
theres fireworks everynight, people dressed to the nines, the place just smells (or stinks) of money.

Bellagio. i love the Bellagio.

Im gonna stay there the next time i go to Vegas.
the musical fountain is amazing and it goes on through the night.
and i fail to capture the beauty and granduer of the place.
but its a place where the shops are all Gucci and up.

Aladdin.
i love the shops. so i reckon the hotel prices would be low relatively in vegas.

theres like a 100 shops.
think Aldo, Steve Madden, Victoria's Secrets, FCUK, Nine West, Armani Exchange, Guess, Betsy Johnson
cheap cheap cheap (in Vegas)
and those shots are the interior of the hotel.

and of course, Wynn.
for the rich, the super rich and those who are too rich for Bellagio.

wynn is venice-theme and its beautiful beautiful beautiful.

did i mention its beautiful?
and we watch La Reve there. more on that later.

Misc Vegas.

went into Excalibur, kinda like a homage. haha
i remembered i used to think Excalibur was grand. oh wells.
anyway its theme is castle. u see dragons, knights and its in the shape of a castle.

La Reve.

anything else i watch again will have big shoes to fill.
6 of us watched the show whose tickets costed up to 1K in total. (for normal seating)
but we got it free. ahh SMU had sense when they preach that networking is so darn important.
its an extravaganza. and no pics were allowed.
oh well.
everyone go watch it. it is SO GOOD. and worth every every every single penny.

so thats Vegas. buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the different hotels.
shoot me im SO FAT now.
oh well.

theres still LA and Seattle.
the thought of posting pics for Disneyland and co just give me a headache.

i came back with an extra luggage, 2.2gig of photos and a burgeoning sense of wanderlust.

am keeping my fingers crossed that overseas plans for April, August and December will materialize.
